As one of New York's premier Medical Malpractice firms we will always fight to protect the rights of clients, but we like to recognize those healthcare professionals whose bravery and dedication make them exceptionally noteworthy. On January 29th, 2014 surgeon Dr. Zenko Hrynkiw walked more than six miles to perform a life-saving brain surgery.
Dr. Hrynkiw, received a call that an emergency brain surgery was necessary at the Trinity Medical Center, more than six miles away and because of the rare snowstorm that had just hit Alabama, nearly all transportation was stuck. He tried to drive to the hospital but only made it three blocks before getting stuck in traffic and then decided the only alternative was to walk.
Dr. Hrynkiw's heroic efforts saved his patient, who would have likely otherwise died. The team at Pulvers, Pulvers & Thompson LLP wants to celebrate his efforts and hold him as a shining example in the professional community.
