Adam J. Friedman
Adam J. Friedman, Esq.
Adam Friedman came to Pulvers, Pulvers, Thompson & Friedman in 2010 with the responsibility of expanding the firm’s real estate presence in the greater New York City area. Widely recognized as an innovative, results-driven attorney Adam has quickly become the litigator of choice for many prominent investors and individuals.
Adam grew up in Suffolk County, Long Island and went to Half Hollow Hills High School East. While in high school he created a record label and music distribution company. He credits this experience, and early exposure to both contract law and negotiations with showing him at a young age that he wanted to be a lawyer.
In 2000, Adam moved to State College, Pennsylvania where he was fortunate enough to attend the Penn State University and meet his future wife Debra. In college Adam studied English and Philosophy and spent his spare time serving on numerous committees in various capacities. Most notably Adam participated extensively in the Pennsylvania State Dance Marathon, helping his fraternity Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity raise upwards of $300,000.00 annually for pediatric cancer.
Upon graduation, Adam moved to Coral Gables where he studied law at the University of Miami and gained a love for residential real estate and Cuban coffee. During law school Adam worked at Solomon & Furshman, LLP and Association Law Group where he was first exposed to real estate litigation. This experience instilled within him in importance in employing creative litigation techniques and of fostering a client-first mentality.
After taking the bar exam, Adam worked at McCabe, Weisberg & Conway in New Rochelle, New York. There he oversaw the Final Judgment and Oath & Report department and got his first taste of New York foreclosure law. At McCabe Adam was first taught the value persuasive value of real estate mathematics. To this day you’ll never find him in a conversation about real property or distressed paper without running monthly payment projections on his amortization calculator or iphone app.
Currently Adam is a Partner at Pulvers, Pulvers, Thompson & Friedman where he heads the Real Estate and Foreclosure divisions of the firm. As law is a service-based industry, he believes that the success of the firm and of him personally is based on the success his clients’ derive from the services he and the firm provide. It is Adam’s belief this client driven approach, as well as the firm’s unwavering devotion to implementing unique, creative legal solutions has allowed Pulvers to become one of the prominent real estate firms in the greater New York City area.
Currently Adam lives in the Upper East Side of Manhattan with his beautiful wife Debra where he enjoys coaching Youth Basketball in the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association, cooking and reading.
