As Angelique's father served in the US Army, she spent the early years of her life moving between Germany and the Carolina's before settling in Honolulu, Hawaii. Angelique graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she double majored in American Studies and Psychology. Upon graduation, Angelique received the Brown and Denny Award for Outstanding Achievement in American Studies. Angelique then decided to move to New York in order pursue her law degree. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, where she graduated cum laude. At New York Law School, Angelique was a member of the Dispute Resolution Team where she placed first in the intramural negotiation competition in 2014. She also interned with the NYC Law Department, the Public Advocate and NYCHA which earned her a NYLS Government Fellow Award and Public Service Certificate. Her experience with the Law Department's Tort division inspired her to pursue a career in civil litigation with a focus in torts and medical malpractice which she found particularly interesting. After graduating from NYLS, Angelique worked for the Attorney General before joining PuIvers, Pulvers & Thompson, LLP in February 2016 as an associate.
